We are a specialist Umbrella Body registered with the Criminal Records Bureau [CRB] for England and Wales, Access NI for those working in Northern Ireland, and Disclosure Scotland.

Our role is to provide access to CRB Disclosure Service for any organisation that needs to use CRBs (Disclosures) as part of its recruitment or risk assessment procedures.

Standard and Enhanced Disclosures are available in England and Wales through the Criminal Records Bureau [CRB], in Northern Ireland through Access NI and in Scotland through Disclosure Scotland.  Applications have to be countersigned by a Registered Body, such as First Standard.

In Scotland, those working with vulnerable groups will now be required to register with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme [PVG Scheme].  Click here for details

Basic Disclosures are available in Northern Ireland and Scotland for individuals who will be able to choose to show it to employers (or anyone else).  A Basic CRB check reveals unspent convictions held on the Police National Computer.  They are not job-specific.
